CONCEP· refurbishment and transformation of pharmacies
Sa Pobla, Balearic Islands
Taking a traditional pharmacy as a starting point and radically transforming it to give it a modern style.
To amplify the sales zone and back room. To carry out the Concep road map, analysing the setting and evaluating all the competing pharmacies in the locality. To develop the concept of an eclectic pharmacy by fusing two styles: “vintage” and “industrial”, attempting to transmit in the design a traditional vintage aesthetic, such as the floor tiles, the wood panelling, the long counter, font, the beams, etc. and the industrial aesthetic using lacquered iron, exposed brickwork, lighting, etc.
An increase in satisfaction has been noted, both in our patients/clients and by the owners and team. On the one hand, the clients feel more comfortable with the new pharmacy, with its wider, more organised range; and on the other hand, it has helped the pharmacy offer a better, more complete service.
This was a small, old-fashioned pharmacy and we decided to refurbish it to give it a fresh, contemporary look. One that is more in keeping with modern times, in which a pharmacy is mostly orientated towards services for health and global wellbeing with the intention to be able to offer the best attention possible.
